More Casey Serin Nigel Swaby Bad Bidness?

Does anyone else find it strange that Nigel Swaby announces he's going on vacation, and at the same time, Casey Serin goes missing?

I'm just saying...the last time both Casey Serin and Nigel Swaby went quiet from the internet, they were trying to set up some shady sweet deals in Salt Lake City.

Let the conspiracy theories commence...

Let me FIRST to say that Dawg's given out some hints about how much trouble those boys might be in....

I wouldn't doubt it for a minute.

They are deep in this mess together. I wouldn't doubt it if Nigel was involved with Casey's loan on the Utah property. For all we know, Nigel could have been involved in the wrap as well.

Casey needs advice as he isn't smart enough to find info on his own. Just drop a hint in his ear and he enthusiastically jumps on it. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Nigel gave Casey tips and contacts for the wrap. I would also not be surprised if Nigel consulted Casey on that deal.

According to my Sungazing source, Nikolay has not extended his invitation to Nigel. He is concerned that Nigel’s cosmic energy could clog his bio-energy-information chamber. Perhaps Nigel is following Casey anyway?

Nigel is getting ready to give Casey a hair cut, then Casey will come back bald as a coot with some sappy pic about it on his website.

@PMSPMS...I know there have been some cryptic Homey drop-ins. Previously, I had thought that Homey would wait for the last foreclosure to take him away, but I guess the new corp makes him a clear and present danger to society.

Hola, gameover.

@Anon 10:41...I think that Nigel's involvement is post-IAFF. But I'm sure he at least advised on the wrap, IMO.

Akubi, I'm getting worried about your Nikolay obsession. Do I need to rally the troops for an online intervention? (and an aside... the bookshelf feature on your blog is way cool. It's scary how similar our bookshelves are)

@Craig...heehee.

It's possible, of course, but I try to be wary of assuming too much from what might be sheer coincidence. Humans have a built-in tndency towards pattern recognition, which makes us see conections and try to create meaning out of events which may or may not acutally be connected.

Note author William Gibson's observation:

Paranoia, he said, was fundamentally egocentric, and every conspiracy theory served in some way to aggrandize the believer

Sprezz...it is true that we subconsciously pick out the information that affirms our existing beliefs. And there's the pattern recognition, where our minds see one as an anomoly, two as a coincidence, and three as a pattern.

We shall see.

aspeth -- not saying you're wrong, just suggesting we be aware that drawing too many conclusions without facts is risky business.

That said, it would not surprise me to find out that Nigel and Casey started doing business long before IAFF went live, or that they are much more entanlged that they care to admit (and you can take that in any sense you want).

@Benoit...What, no mad limerick skills for me? I see how it is.

Sprezzatura...Yes. We know by now that anything is possible in Caseyland. I leave it open to possibility that Casey Serin and Nigel Swaby were entrenched before IAFF; at the same time, it would surprise me greatly.

Even the most novice mortgage broker (of which Nigel Swaby certainly is) would understand that if Casey ever went down that all of the peripheral R.E. people would also. So to issue press releases about Casey Serin seems really, really crazy.

Of course, Nigel Swaby has proven to be a major freak. I have to wonder if, when he was running Casey's scenario past his super top-secret agent friend, he ran any queries on his own behalf.

That said, I'm going to be a little disappointed if Homey's got Casey in cuffs before CashCall gets to bat him around like a kitten with a ball of yarn.
